Overpower Discs with Pullback

IRL, if I throw a beat up, say River, as hard as I can, it will turn over to a roller or “worm-burner.” In DGV, we can only pull back to essentially “the optimal” power no matter what disc we’re using. If there were one more power smile that were perhaps red or orange that was “overpowered,” that would not only add a greater level of realism, it would also make the game more difficult and open the door to more creative shots. It’s actually somewhat curious that we can do the opposite of this by “underpowering” discs.

Camera Follow on Putts

We need a way to judge our lie on putts. Often, because the camera doesn’t follow our putts, it’s impossible to tell whether it’s better to re-throw or move to lie. Additionally, when a basket is obscured, we can’t tell if we missed high or low and can’t know how to adjust in the future.

Different Format for the Pro Tour

Rather than the pro tour being set up with the same format as the multiplayer and daily tournaments (3 holes from 3 different courses based on seeds), I would like to see the Pro Tour be 4 full courses picked randomly each Tour (with the exception to Sunshine Glade, of course). We have twelve full courses right now with a thirteenth in the works based on reports. I have been trying to figure out for a while how to make the Pro Tour feel different and more special than the Daily Open and the multiplayer rounds. We can do full course rounds in friendly–just move it over.

Putting Practice Bugs

  • No tap in when landing on top of basket – it’s impossible to make the putt.
  • Complete freeze of game
  • Blue score boxes shifting around as numbers change
  • “Black Flies of Doom” basket ejections
  • Missing chains

Additionally, while it’s fun and interesting to play with no wind, it would probably be more useful as practice/training if there were winds in practice, even if not max winds. If winds were to be added, it might also make sense to slow the progression of distance entirely, or maybe even just starting at a certain distance – like beyond 49′.
