Ace

An ace is when you throw the disc into the basket in one throw with no penalties. An ace on a par 3 results in a score of two under par (eagle), an ace on a par 4 results in a score of three under par (albatross), and an ace on a par 5 results in a score of four under par (condor).

Putt

In disc golf, circle one is considered 33 feet/10 meters and in, and circle two is considered within 66 feet or 20 meters.

Drive

Used to describe the first stroke from the tee box on every hole.

Approach

The shot taken by a player from the fairway to the circle.

Fade

When the disc curves at the end of the flight path (fades left on backhands for right-handed backhand players, and fades right on backhands for left-handed players)

Turn

When the disc turns at the beginning of the flight path (turns right on backhands for right-handed backhand players, and turns left on backhands for left-handed players)
